Turbo Boost Sensor: Service and Repair

Boost (BARO) Sensor:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the Engine Cover.
2. Remove the harness connector from the Boost sensor by releasing the locking tab.
3. Remove the mounting bolts.
4. Remove the sensor.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the port gasket on the sensor.
2. Install the sensor.
3. Install the mounting bolts.

- Tighten the mounting bolts to 3.5 Nm (27 lb. in.).

4. Install harness connector.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the PCM electrical harness is properly routed to avoid contact with the Engine Cover during installation.

5. Install the Engine Cover.
