Shield Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the four bolts and the nuts securing the transfer case shield to the frame.





3. Remove the shield from the frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the shield to the frame.
2. Install the four bolts and the nuts securing the transfer case shield to the frame.
- Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Lower the vehicle.
