Installation






Installation Procedure
1. Install the new gasket and the throttle body to the intake manifold (4).
2. Secure the throttle body with one nut (1) and one bolt (1). Tighten bolt and the nut to 18.28 Nm (13.5-20 lb ft).
3. Connect the two coolant hoses to the throttle body (3).
4. Secure the two coolant hoses with hose clamps.
5. Connect the EGR solenoid vacuum valve vacuum hose to the throttle body.
6. Install the accelerator cable bracket (5) to the throttle body.
7. Secure the accelerator cable bracket with one nut (1), one bolt (1) and one screw. Tighten nut and bolt to 18-28 Nm (13.5-20 lb ft).
8. Connect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector (2).




9. Install the air intake pipe (2) to throttle body.
10. Secure the intake air pipe to the throttle body with the one clamp (1).
11. Secure the intake air pipe in place with three bolts (3). Tighten bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
12. Connect the AC valve air intake hose to the air intake (4) pipe.
13. Connect the PCV valve hose to the intake air pipe (8).
14. Connect the two coolant hoses (7) to the intake air pipe.
15. Secure the two coolant hoses with hose clamps.
16. Connect the air intake hose (6) to the air intake pipe.
17. Secure the air intake hose with one clamp.




18. Connect the throttle cable (2) (automatic transmission) to the throttle lever.
19. Connect the accelerator cable (1) to the throttle lever.
20. Install the throttle cover.
21. Secure the throttle cover with three bolts. Tighten bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
22. Adjust the accelerator cable.
23. Adjust the throttle valve cable.
24. Adjust the Throttle Position Sensor.
25. Turn OFF the ignition.
26. Check for any fuel leaks and repair as necessary.
27. Refill the engine coolant to proper level.
28. Connect the negative battery cable.
