Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect

1. Discharge and recover refrigerant.
2. Negative (-) battery cable. Refer to Battery.
3. A/C dual pressure switch electrical connector.
4. A/C dual pressure switch from receiver/dryer.

Install or Connect

1. A/C dual pressure switch to receiver/dryer.

Tighten
^ Dual pressure switch to 18 N.m (13 lb. ft.).

2. A/C dual pressure switch electrical connector.
3. Negative (-) battery cable. Refer to Battery..
4. Evacuate and recharge air conditioning system.
5. Operate A/C system and check for refrigerant leaks.
