Detent Lever and Manual Shaft Installation

1. Install the manual shaft seal (142), if necessary.
2. Install the manual shaft. The Identification groove must be on the outside.
3. Install the manual shaft spring pin (143).
4. Check the manual shaft (141) for free movement.





5. Install the detent lever (140) and parking pawl actuator (123) assembly.





6. Install the manual shaft nut (144).
^ Tighten the nut to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
