Vacuum Modulator Valve Assembly Installation

INSTALLATION
^ Tools Required
- J 36850 Transjel Transmission Assembly Lubricant
- J 23100 Vacuum Modulator Wrench





1. Apply J 36850 to the vacuum modulator O-ring (2).
2. Use the J 23100 in order to install the vacuum modulator plunger (3) into the transmission.
^ Tighten the vacuum modulator (1) to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





3. Install the vacuum hose and pipe (1) to the vacuum modulator (2).
4. Lower the vehicle.
