Key In Ignition Reminder

The BCM will provide an audible warning intended to remind the driver that the ignition key is in the ignition switch when exiting the vehicle. The key in ignition chime will continue to sound 100 time per minute until the driver door is closed or the key removed from the ignition switch. The BCM monitors key in switch function via CKT 80 (LT GRN) from the ignition switch. The key in reminder chime will sound when all of the following inputs to the BCM are met:
^ The key in input is active.
^ The driver door jamb input is active.
^ The ignition 1 input is inactive.
