Dome Lamps

Passenger vans and cargo vans have 3 dome lamps which are in the following locations:
- The front of the vehicle
- The center of the vehicle
- The rear of the vehicle

The cutaway models and the upfitter models have a single front dome lamp. The TR9 optional lighting package includes dome reading lamps, which are part of the dome lamp assembly. The dome lamps, including the optional dome reading lamps, have power from CTSY fuse 3 through CKT 40 (ORN).

Completion of a ground circuit operates the dome lamps. The dome lamps have ground by the dome lamp switch, which is part of the Instrument Panel (IP) dimmer switch, through CKT 156 (WHT). The dome lamps also have ground by either the illuminated entry module or by the optional remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Illuminated Entry and Keyless Entry for a descriptions of lamp operation by the illuminated entry module or by the remote control door lock receiver. Keyless Entry

When equipped, a dome reading lamp is on either side of each dome light. Push-button switches operate the dome reading lamp bulbs. Depressing the push-button switch once connects the associated dome reading lamp bulb to a local mechanical ground. Then the bulb lights. Depressing the switch again opens the ground connection.
