Shift Lever - Assemble

1. Install the shift lever seal (2) onto the shift lever assembly (4).
2. Install the shift lever assembly (4).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the shift lever screw (3) into the shift lever assembly (4).
Tighten the shift lever screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).
4. Slide the shift lever seal (2) down the shift lever assembly (4).
5. Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Assemble - Off Vehicle.
