Oil Pan: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the engine from the vehicle. Refer to Engine Replacement.
2. Install the engine on a suitable engine stand.
3. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Removal.
4. Clean the sealing surfaces and the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Clean and Inspect.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the oil pan. Refer to on Pan Installation.
2. Remove the engine from the engine stand.
3. Install the engine into the vehicle. Refer to Engine Replacement.
