Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the left hinge pillar trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the electrical connector.
3. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt.
4. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the park brake warning lamp switch.
Tighten
Tighten the park brake warning lamp switch mounting bolt to 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.).
2. Install the electrical connector.
3. Install the left hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Left Hinge Pillar in Interior Trim.
