30. Cylinder Head Disassemble

^ Tools Required
- J8062 Valve Spring Compressor
- J43184 Valve Spring Compressor Adapter
- J36017Valve Guide Seal Remover

Important: Ensure that the valve train components are kept together and identified in order for proper re-installation in their original position.

Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.





1. Use the J8062 and the valve spring adapter and compress the valve spring.





2. Remove the valve keepers (1).
3. Slowly release the J8062 from the valve spring assembly.
4. Remove the retainer.
5. Remove the spring.
6. Remove the spring seats.

Notice: Do not damage the valve guide. Remove any burrs that have formed at the key groove by chamfering the valve stem with an oil stone or a file.





7. Remove the valve seal (2). Use the J36017.





8. Remove the valve (2).
9. Remove the remaining valves.
