Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the IP cluster trim plate.
2. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry the hazard warning switch (1) from the instrument panel.




3. Disconnect the hazard warning switch electrical connector (2).
4. Remove the switch (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the hazard warning switch electrical connector (2).
2. Install the hazard warning switch (1) to the instrument panel. Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
3. Install the P cluster trim plate.
