General Description
The vehicles auxiliary HVAC system blower motor forces recirculated air back in the vehicle's interior. Depending upon vehicle content, up to two separate auxiliary HVAC control assemblies could be installed. The vehicle operator determines the blower motor's speed when the driver places the auxiliary HVAC control assembly in one of the following positions: Low, Med, or High. The blower motor will only operate when the ignition is in the RUN position, and the auxiliary HVAC control assembly is in any position other than OFF.Power is provided to the auxiliary blower motor resistor assembly on two separate circuits. The control side of the relays are powered by the engine wiring harness junction block on the battery positive voltage circuit. This circuit travels through the IP wiring harness junction block. The coil side of the relays are powered by the left instrument panel fuse block and through the IP wiring harness junction block on the ignition 3 voltage circuits. Grounds are provided by the ground circuits through the splice pack.
