Shift Lever Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Push down top of boot to below bottom of lever.
2. Loosen shift lever nut. Remove the shift lever.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the shift levee to the shift tower.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the shift lever nut.
^ Tighten the shift lever nut to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
3. Ensure the boot is pulled up to the bottom of the shift lever.
