88. Throttle Body Assembly Installation

Throttle Body Installation

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the throttle body studs (if required).
- Tighten the throttle body studs to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).

Important: DO NOT reuse the throttle body gasket. Install a NEW gasket during assembly.

2. Install the throttle body gasket (1) to the intake manifold.





3. Install the throttle body and nuts.
- Tighten the throttle body nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
4. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose and clamp to the throttle body.
