Barometric Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Disconnect the BARO sensor electrical connector (1).




3. Carefully bend the locking tab (2), located on the bracket, away from the sensor, just enough so that the sensor will pass.
4. Pull the BARO sensor (3) downward to remove it from the bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Carefully bend the locking tab (2) inward to engage the sensor.
2. Install the BARO sensor (3) on to the bracket.




3. Connect the electrical connector (1).
