Onstar (R) GPS Antenna Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the windshield garnish molding.
2. Remove the headliner.
3. Remove the GPS antenna (1) from the roof.




4. Disconnect the antenna cable (1) from the windshield.




5. Clean the old residue from the windshield using a razor blade and isopropyl alcohol.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Prepare the interior glass using isopropyl alcohol pad and a clean lint-free cloth.




2. Remove the backing on the metallic strip (2) from the antenna housing (1).




3. Install the GPS antenna (1) on the inside to the roof.




4. Reconnect the GPS antenna electrical connector (1).
5. Reinstall the headliner.
6. Reinstall the windshield garnish molding.
