Transfer Case Shield Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the transfer case shield mounting bolts from the transmission support.
3. Remove the transfer case shield from transmission support.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transfer case shield to the transmission support.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the transfer case shield mounting bolts the transmission support.
^ Tighten the transfer case shield mounting bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
