Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble

Steering Column Trim Covers-Assemble Off Vehicle (Floor Shift)

- Tools Required
- J41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture





1. Install the trim protector (1) to the lower trim cover (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the upper trim cover (23 and secure by using 1 TOPS head screw (1).
- Tighten the screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





3. install the lower trim covert and secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
- Tighten the screws to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.).





4. Take the column out from J41352.
5. Install the tilt lever into the lower trim cover.
