REFRIGERANT OIL CAPACITIES

ABRUPT REFRIGERANT LOSS 60 ml (2.0 oz)
NOTE: Abrupt refrigerant loss due to large leak, hose rupture, collision, or pressure relief valve opening. Conditions that allow the refrigerant to seep or bleed off over time do not cause this oil loss. Upon replacement of a component that caused a large refrigerant loss, also add the required amount of oil for the particular component.

ACCUMULATOR REPLACEMENT 60 ml (2.0 oz)
NOTE: Add PAG oil equal to the amount of oil drained from the old accumulator plus the specified additional amount.

COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT 60 ml (2.0 oz)
NOTE: If more than the specified amount of PAG oil was drained from a component, add the equal amount of oil drained. The Sanden scroll service compressor is precharged with 218.8 ml (7.40 oz) of PAG oil.

CONDENSER REPLACEMENT 30 ml (1.0 oz)
NOTE: If more than the specified amount of PAG oil was drained from a component, add the equal amount of oil drained.

EVAPORATOR REPLACEMENT 90 ml (3.0 oz)
NOTE: If more than the specified amount of PAG oil was drained from a component, add the equal amount of oil drained.

TOTAL SYSTEM OIL CAPACITY 218.8 ml (7.40 oz)
