Wiring Harness Replacement - Midgate

WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT - MIDGATE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the midgate inner panel.
2. Remove the midgate window.
3. Remove the midgate window regulator.




4. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
- Midgate latches
- Midgate window position switch
- Midgate latch release switch
- Midgate harness to body harness
5. Release the midgate wiring harness retainers from the midgate structure.
6. Remove the midgate wiring harness from the midgate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the midgate wiring harness to the midgate.
2. Install the midgate wiring harness retainers to the midgate structure.
3. Connect the following electrical connectors:
- Midgate latches
- Midgate window position switch
- Midgate latch release switch
- Midgate harness to body harness
4. Install the midgate window regulator .
5. Install the midgate window.
6. Install the midgate inner panel.
