Wedge Replacement - Liftgate

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.




2. Remove the bolts from the wedge plate.
3. Remove the wedge plate from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the wedge plate to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts into the wedge plate.

Tighten the wedge bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Close the liftgate.
4. Inspect for proper engagement of the wedge plate to the liftgate.
