Window Replacement - Rear Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the inner rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the inner belt seal. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner) .
3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the door frame appliques. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Front () .




5. Lower window to access the window release tab.




6. Remove the window run channel bolts and loosen the window run channel.
7. Depress the window release tab with a flat-bladed tool.
8. Pull the window out of the window regulator guide plate.
9. Slide the window down and out of the primary window run channels.
10. Remove the window through the door belt opening.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the window by sliding the window into the door through the outside door belt opening.
2. Install the window into the primary window run channels and position into the regulator guide plate.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the window run channel bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

4. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .




5. Install the inner belt seal. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner) .
6. Install the rear inner door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the door frame appliques. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Front () .
8. Operate the window to inspect the operation.
