Carpet Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seats. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement (Removal and Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Removal and Replacement) .
4. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the lock pillar trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Removal and Replacement) .
6. Remove the seat back bumpers. Refer to Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion (Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion) .




7. Remove the tire inflator thumb screws (1).
8. Remove the tire inflator from the vehicle.




9. Remove the rear carpet from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear carpet into the vehicle.
2. Install the tire inflator.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the tire inflator thumb screws (1).

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the seat back bumpers. Refer to Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion (Bumper Replacement - Front Seat Back Cushion) .
5. Install the lock pillar trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Removal and Replacement) .
6. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Removal and Replacement) .
8. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement (Removal and Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
9. Install the seats. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) in Seats.
