Lock Cylinder Replace - Console Compartment Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the console upper trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Upper (Removal and Replacement) .




2. With the key, move the lock cylinder to the LOCKED position (1).
3. Remove the key from the lock cylinder.




4. Remove the screw (1) retaining the lock cylinder assembly to the upper console.
5. Remove the lock cylinder assembly from the upper console.



Installation Procedure





1. Move the lock cylinder to the UNLOCK position (1).
2. Position the lock cylinder assembly to the upper console.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





3. Install the screw (1) retaining the lock cylinder assembly to the upper console.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).





4. With the key, move the lock cylinder to the LOCKED position (1).
5. Install the console upper trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Upper (Removal and Replacement) .
