Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Removal and Replacement) .
2. Remove the right knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right (Removal and Replacement) .
3. Remove the radio compensation microphone. Refer to Microphone Replacement - Radio Volume Compensator Interior .




4. Remove 2 screws (1) that retain the data link connector.




5. Remove the 7 screws (1) to remove the bracket.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install 7 screws (1) to secure the bracket.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).





2. Install 2 screws (1) that retain the data link connector.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

3. Install the radio compensation microphone. Refer to Microphone Replacement - Radio Volume Compensator Interior .
4. Install the right knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right (Removal and Replacement) .
5. Install the left knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Removal and Replacement) .
