Folding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Striker

FOLDING TOP STOWAGE COMPARTMENT LID STRIKER

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Cycle the folding top stowage compartment lid to the open position.
2. Stop the cycle before the folding top panel is unlatched from the windshield header.
3. Place a protective covering on all adjacent body panels to protect the painted surfaces.
4. Using a grease pencil or suitable marking device, mark the location of the stowage compartment lid latch striker to the stowage compartment lid.




5. Remove the stowage compartment lid striker fasteners.
6. Remove the stowage compartment lid striker sensor.




7. Remove the stowage compartment lid striker from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the stowage compartment lid striker sensor.




2. Install the stowage compartment lid striker to the stowage lid.




3. Install the stowage compartment lid striker fasteners. Hand tighten the fasteners.
4. Align the stowage compartment lid striker to the alignment marks.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

5. Remove the protective covering.
6. Cycle the folding top stowage compartment lid closed.
7. Inspect the folding top for proper operation.
