2.If equipped, remove the oil pan skid plate. Refer to Oil Pan Skid Plate Replacement .

1Engine Front Crossmember Bolt (Qty: 4)
Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

1.Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.

2.Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.

3.Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488).

2Engine Front Crossmember Nut (Qty: 4)Tighten
1.70 N �m (52 lb ft)

2.Plus 110 degrees
