Sliding Door(s) Difficult To Open From The Outside And / Or Inside

NOTE:

1996 (GS) Chrysler Voyager (International Market)

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Sliding door(s) difficult to open using the outside and/or inside latch handle.

DIAGNOSIS:

Pull the outside sliding door handle using normal means. If the door does not open, pull on the outside handle while also pulling outward on the rear edge of the door at the beltline by the lower rear corner of the glass. If the door opens, perform Repair Procedure 1, if the door does not open perform Repair Procedure 2.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves adjusting the sliding door and/or sliding door strikers and/or replacing the sliding door(s) latch and/or replacing the sliding door control assembly as required.

POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
