BACK-UP LAMPS (ATX)

CIRCUIT OPERATION
Power for the back-up lamp portion of the park/ neutral position switch is supplied on circuit A22 from the ignition switch. The switch is normally OPEN.

When the operator places the vehicle in REVERSE, circuit A22 is connected to circuit L1. The L1 circuit is a direct connection from the switch to the back-up lamps.
