Idle Speed

NOTE: Idle speed is not adjustable. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls idle speed through Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor.

If idle speed is outside of specifications, or is rough, or unstable, inspect and clean throttle body, (if deposits are visible).

After cleaning throttle body perform Throttle Body Minimum Air Flow Test, under Throttle Body/ Testing and Inspection. Testing and Inspection
