Verification Test VER-1A - ABS

PROCEDURE
1. Connect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
2. With the Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) or equivalent scan tool, erase all diagnostic trouble codes.
3. Turn the ignition key on. With the scan tool, read trouble codes. If any trouble codes are present, repeat TEST 1-A. Test 1A - Checking For Diagnostic Trouble Codes
4. If there are no codes present upon key up, road test the vehicle for at least 5 minutes. Perform several antilock braking stops and traction control starts if equipped.

WARNING: Ensure braking capability is available before road testing vehicle.

5. Again, with the scan tool, read trouble codes. If any codes are present, repeat TEST 1-A. Test 1A - Checking For Diagnostic Trouble Codes
6. If there are no trouble codes present and the customer's complaint can no longer be duplicated, the repair is complete.
