Transmission Oil Cooler

DESCRIPTION






The primary transmission oil cooler is an internal oil-to-coolant type, mounted in the radiator left tank. A1SO7 an auxiliary oil-to-air type cooler is mounted in front of the A/C condenser. Use only approved transmission oil cooler hose. Since these are molded to fit space available, molded hoses are recommended.

OPERATION
The oil flows into the internal (in radiator tank) cooler where the heat from the oil is transferred to the coolant. Oil is then routed to an external oil-to-air type cooler where additional heat is transferred to the air.
