Crankshaft

DESCRIPTION
The nodular iron crankshaft is supported by four main bearings, with number two position the thrust bearing. Crankshaft end sealing is provided by front and rear rubber seals.

OPERATION
The crankshaft converts the reciprocating power generated by combustion within the cylinder into rotary power to the flywheel or flexplate.
