DISCUSSION:
An HVAC air filter is standard equipment on all RG models and RS models equipped with dual zone, three zone, or ATC climate control systems. The HVAC air filter removes dust, pollen, and some odors from the air.
Maintenance Schedules "A" and "B" recommend HVAC air filter replacement at 15,000 mile (24,000 kilometers) intervals. Replace the filter (p/n 82205905) following the procedures in the appropriate Service Manual, Section 24, Distribution - Front, Air Filter Removal and Installation.
