Overhead Rail Console System

OVERHEAD RAIL CONSOLE SYSTEM

REMOVAL


1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove storage compartments.

3. Remove rear heater / A/C control unit, using fingers grasp the top edge of control unit at the head-liner and pull downward to release tabs (Fig. 60).
4. Disconnect rear heater / A/C control unit wire connectors.

5. Open DVD player screen (Fig. 61).

6. Remove four nuts attaching DVD player to the overhead rail console system (Fig. 62).
7. Disconnect DVD player wire connector.

8. Remove four screws in the rail to remove DVD mounting bracket, if necessary (Fig. 63).

Remove front console, using fingers grasp the top edge of the front console at the headliner and pull downward to release tabs (Fig. 64).

9. Remove rail filler cover, by starting in rail opening and pulling downward to release from rail (Fig. 65).

Remove rear end cover, using fingers grasp the top edge of rear end cover at the headliner and pull downward to release tabs.

10. Remove ten screws attaching rail to the head-liner (Fig. 66).
11. Remove rail(s) from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Place rail(s) into position (Fig. 67).
2. Install ten attaching screws.
3. Snap rear end cover into position.

4. Snap front cover into position (Fig. 68).

5. Install four screws in the rail attaching DVD mounting bracket, if necessary (Fig. 69).

6. Press rail filler cover into position (Fig. 70).
7. Place DVD player into position and connect wire connector.

8. Install the four DVD player attaching nuts, and close DVD screen door (Fig. 71).
9. Place rear heater ? A/C into position and connect wire connectors.

10. Snap rear heater / A/C control unit, by (Fig. 72).
11. Install storage compartments.
12. Connect battery negative cable.
