Front Seat Cushion

FRONT SEAT CUSHION

REMOVAL

COUPE




1. Remove seat from vehicle.
2. Remove upper riser shield, if equipped.
3. Remove the seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle and front seat cushion shield. Disconnect wire connectors, if equipped.




4. Remove front inner seat belt attaching screw (1) and inboard seat side shield.




5. Remove front seat cushion screws (1), two front side and two rear.




6. Disconnect any electrical connectors and wire ties from the bottom of seat cushion, if equipped.
7. Remove track and recliner assembly.




8. Remove seat cushion (1) from seat frame.

CONVERTIBLE




1. Remove seat from vehicle.
2. Remove upper riser shield, if equipped.
3. Remove the seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle (3) and front seat cushion shield.




4. Disconnect wire connectors (1), if equipped.




5. Remove front inner seat belt attaching bolt (2) and inboard seat side shield (1).




6. Remove front seat cushion screws, two front side and two rear and towel bar.
7. Disconnect any electrical connectors and wire ties from the bottom of seat cushion, if equipped.




8. Remove seat cushion from seat frame.

INSTALLATION

COUPE




1. Connect any electrical connectors and secure wire harness with wire ties under the seat cushion, if equipped.




2. Install two front side and two rear screws attaching seat cushion.
3. Install upper riser shield, if equipped.




4. Install the inner seat cushion and inner seat belt. Tighten inner seat belt anchor screw (1) to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.) torque.




5. Connect wire connectors, if equipped. Install seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle and front seat cushion shield.
6. Install front seat into vehicle.

CONVERTIBLE




1. Place seat cushion and seat pan in position on seat frame.
2. Connect any electrical connectors (1) and secure wire harness with wire ties under the seat cushion, if equipped.




3. Install two front side and two rear screws (1) attaching seat cushion and towel bar (2).




4. Install upper riser shield, if equipped.




5. Install the inner seat cushion (1) and inner seat belt. Tighten inner seat belt anchor screw (2) to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.) torque.




6. Connect wire connectors (1), if equipped.




7. Install seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle (3) and front seat cushion shield.
8. Install front seat into vehicle.
