Molding - Windshield Header - Convertible
MOLDING - WINDSHIELD HEADER - CONVERTIBLEREMOVAL
1. Remove the sun visor and sun visor retainer.
2. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the snap retainers that secure the header center molding (2) to the inside of the windshield surround frame (1).
3. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the three snap retainers (1) that secure each header end molding (2) to the inside of the windshield surround frame (3).
4. Remove each header end molding from the windshield surround frame and if equipped, route the sun visor wire harness connector (4) through the molding.
INSTALLATION
1. Position each header end molding to the inside of the windshield opening frame and if equipped,route the wire harness connector for the illuminated sun visor through the hole in the molding.
2. Install each header end molding onto the wind shield opening frame. Make sure the snap retainers are fully engaged to the windshield opening frame.
3. Position the header center molding to the inside of the windshield opening frame.
4. Install the header center molding onto the windshield opening frame. Make sure the snap retainers are fully engaged to the windshield opening frame and if equipped, the wire harness connector is positioned in the notch of the molding.
5. Install the sun visor and sun visor retainer.
