SYMPTOM
P0562-BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW

WHEN MONITORED
The engine running. The engine speed greater than 380 RPM.

SET CONDITION
Battery voltage is less than 11.5 volts for 10 seconds. Battery Lamp will illuminate. The Battery Lamp will turn off if the battery voltage recovers to 12.04 volts greater, due to reduction of load, increased RPM or an intermittent condition.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Good trip equal to zero
- B+ circuit high resistance
- Generator ground high resistance
- Generator operation
- (Z1) Generator field ground circuit open
- (K20) GEN field control circuit shorted to ground
- (K20) GEN field control circuit open
- PCM
