SUPPORT ROD - GAS

REMOVAL




1. Release the decklid latch and open the decklid.
2. Support decklid with a suitable lifting device and disengage the clips that secure the gas support rods (1) to the mounting studs (2) located on the decklid and the body and remove the support rods.

INSTALLATION




1. Install the gas support rods (1) to the mounting studs (2) on the decklid and body and engage the support rod retaining clips to the studs.
2. Remove the lifting device.
3. Verify decklid operation.
