Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Unit - PT27

REMOVAL
1. Open hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
3. Open decklid.
4. Remove the decklid trim panel.

CHMSL Unit Electrical Connector:

5. Disconnect the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Unit electrical connector.

CHMSL Unit Location:

CHMSL Unit - Remove/Install:

6. Remove the two retaining nuts to the CHMSL Unit.
7. Remove CHMSL Unit from decklid.

INSTALLATION
1. Position Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Unit onto decklid.
2. Install the two retaining nuts to the CHMSL Unit. Torque nuts to 2.5 N.m (22 in.lbs.).
3. Connect the CHMSL Unit electrical connector.
4. Install the decklid trim panel.
5. Close decklid.
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
7. Close hood.
8. Verify vehicle and system operation.
