Assembly-Wire Harness
ASSEMBLY-WIRE HARNESSREMOVAL
1. Position the convertible top in the raised position.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion.
3. Remove the left interior quarter trim panel.
4. Remove the rear seat back.
5. Remove the push-pins (1) that secure the convertible top well (2) to the rear seat back panel (3) and body (4) and remove the well liner.
6. Remove the protective cover (3) from the top of the hydraulic pump/motor assembly (4) located on the shelf panel (2).
7. Disconnect the wire connector for the pump motor (1).
8. Remove the three retaining clips that secure the convertible top wire harness (3) and relay (2) to the body.
9. Disconnect the two wire harness connectors from the rear window defogger terminals and route the defogger wire harness lead (1) through the wire slings.
10. Disconnect the convertible top wire harness connector (2) from the body wire harness (3) located on the left side of the vehicle and remove the convertible top wire harness.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the convertible top wire harness into the vehicle.
2. Connect the convertible top wire harness connector (2) to the body wire harness connector (3).
3. Route the rear window defogger wire lead (1) through the wire slings and connect the wire connectors to the rear window defogger terminals.
4. Connect the convertible top wire harness (3) to the pump motor (1).
5. Install the three retaining clips that secure the convertible top wire harness and relay (2) to the body.
6. Install the protective cover (3) to the top of the hydraulic pump/motor assembly (4) located on the shelf panel.
7. Position the convertible top well liner (2) into the vehicle and install the push-pins (1) that secure the liner to the rear seat back panel (3) and body (4).
8. Install the rear seat back.
9. Install the left interior quarter trim panel.
10. Install the rear seat cushion.
