Rear Seat
REAR SEATREMOVAL
COUPE
1. Fold seat back down and then roll forward to access disengage hooks.
2. Remove rear seat latch cover before seat removal.
3. Disengage hooks and remove rear seat (1) from vehicle.
CONVERTIBLE
1. Fold rear seats forward and remove screw (2) attaching check strap (1) on each side of vehicle.
2. Remove latch covers.
3. Fold seat back down and then roll forward to access rear seat latch latching devices (1).
4. To disengage latching devise, rock latching devise rearward and install a rod (1) into the hole to support latching devise in the open position.
5. With both latches (1) in the open position the seat may be removed.
6. Remove latches (2), if necessary. Remove attaching bolts (3) and remove latch (2).
INSTALLATION
COUPE
1. Place rear seat (1) back into position in vehicle.
2. Push seat downward to engage hooks.
3. Replace rear seat latch cover.
CONVERTIBLE
1. Install latches (2), if necessary. Place latch(s) (2) into position and install attaching bolts. Tighten bolts (3) to 12.5 N.m (110 in. lbs.).
2. Ensure latches are in the open position. With a rod (1) into the hole to support latching devise in the open position.
3. Insert rear seat(s) into position and remove rods.
4. Install latch covers (1).
5. With rear seat(s) in the upright position install screws (2) attaching check strap(s) (1).
6. Place rear seat (1) back into position.
