REMOVAL





NOTE: 5.7L engine shown. 3.7L/4.7L engines similar.

1. Disconnect the PCV fresh air hose (9) from the air cleaner housing cover (8).
2. Pull the air inlet hose straight (1) upward to disengage it from the grommet (2) located on the top of the radiator fan shroud (3).
3. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the air inlet hose from the resonator (10) and air cleaner housing cover.
4. Remove the two bolts (4) that secure the air cleaner housing (5) to right inner fender.
5. Pull the air cleaner housing straight upward to disengage it from the grommet (7) located on the battery tray (6).
6. Rotate and tilt the air cleaner housing as necessary and remove the housing from the engine compartment.
