INSTALLATION




1. Apply a light coating of wheel bearing grease on the axle splines.
2. Insert half shaft into steering knuckle and onto the axle. Verify shaft snap-ring engages with the groove on the inside of the joint housing.
3. Clean hub bearing bore and hub bearing mating surface. Lightly coat mating surfaces with grease.
4. Install hub bearing (1) onto the axle half shaft and into steering knuckle (3). Tighten hub bearing bolts to 163 Nm (120 ft. lbs.).




5. Install wheel speed sensor, if equipped.
6. Install brake rotor (3) and caliper adapter with caliper (1).
7. Install half shaft nut. Apply brakes and tighten shaft nut to 251 Nm (185 ft. lbs.).
8. Install skid plate, if equipped.
