Accessory Drive Belt - Removal

REMOVAL - 5.7L

5.7L Engine:

1. Remove the air intake tube between the intake manifold and air filter assembly.

2. Insert a suitable square drive ratchet into the square hole on the belt tensioner arm (6).

3. Release the belt tension by rotating the tensioner (6) clockwise. Rotate the belt tensioner until the accessory drive belt (7) can be removed from the pulleys.

4. Remove the accessory drive belt (7).

5. Gently release the tensioner (6).
