Rear Drum Brake Vehicles

REAR DRUM BRAKE VEHICLES

NOTE: Before proceeding, refer to SUSPENSION REAR WARNING.

1. Raise and support the vehicle.




2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the rear tire and wheel assembly (1).




3. Remove the brake drum retaining clips (5), then the drum (6).
4. Remove the dust cap (4) from the hub and bearing (7).
5. Remove the hub nut (3), then slide the hub and bearing (7) from the spindle (10).
