Installation - Convertible

INSTALLATION - CONVERTIBLE





1. Position the quarter panel outer belt weatherstrip (1) to the quarter panel (3).
2. Adjust the convertible top open/close to access the four screws (2) that secure the quarter panel outer belt weatherstrip.

NOTE: Make sure to press down on the quarter panel outer belt weatherstrip while tightening the screws.

3. Install the four screws that secure each quarter panel outer belt weatherstrip while pressing down on the weatherstrip. Install and tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.) in the following order:
- 1st (front)
- 4th (back)
- 3rd (second from back)
- 2nd (second from front)





4. Install the inner quarter panel weatherstrip (2) onto the quarter panel inner flange (1) by pressing firmly downward on the weatherstrip.
5. Install the rear quarter panel trim Installation - Convertible.
6. Raise the convertible top. Make sure the weatherstrip is sealing properly and does not interfere with convertible top operation.
