REMOVAL

NOTE: Quad seats equipped with child restraint seats have an interlock feature that will not allow the seat back to fold forward with the child seat open.





1. Remove the headrestHeadrest - Removal.
2. Remove the armrests, if equippedArmrest - Removal.
3. Remove the seat back hinge coversSeat Back Hinge Covers - Removal.
4. If equipped with child restraint seat, remove the child seat synchronizer cable (2) from the seat back hinge (3) and disconnect the cable from the cable end connector (1).




NOTE: Outboard side shown. inboard side similar.

5. Remove the bolts (1) that secure the seat back to the seat back hinges (3) and remove the seat back.
6. If servicing a seat back hinge, remove the bolts (2) that secure the seat back hinge to the seat cushion frame and remove the hinge.
